I’m a State College, Pennsylvania based artist working in a variety of media including oil painting, drawing, paper collage and photography. I earned a Masters Degree in Fine Art Photography from Eastern Michigan University way back when and have been creating one way or another ever since. Currently, I'm focused on painting portraits in oil. Classical realism and the Old Masters are my inspiration and I am intrigued by the traditional processes and techniques of painting in oil. Relatively new to the craft of painting, I am working out my technical kinks while searching for my own particular style and artistic voice.
