I’m an abstract marker artist. I primarily do abstract geometric art, but I also sometimes do pieces with a higher level of abstraction. I often employ automatic drawing to make organic shapes or what I call squiggles that act as focal points in my work.
I enjoy bold lines and colors, and most of my work involves the use of gradients to produce a colorful effect.
Working with markers lends me a kind of dexterity that I find to be more difficult with other mediums like paint, and as such they are my preferred method of applying color. I’ve been creating art steadily for a few years now and began selling my work last year.
I’m a central Pennsylvania native and enjoy the art that comes out of this area.
