My work is best described as mixed-media. While textile, broadly defined, is the primary medium, I also use a variety of materials and techniques in most pieces, including paint, ink, collage, and photography. This work is a decades-long experiment in expressing a sense of landscape and place. I find inspiration everywhere: patterns in stone; an exquisite streetscape; fellow travelers; and an elusive making process that somehow leads me on.
