I studied fine art at Penn State and the University of Maryland. While I dabble in oils, pastels, and watercolor, most of my work is pen & ink, graphite, and charcoal, both traditional and digital. I initially focused on portraiture, but later expanded to landscapes, mostly of places I've been. I spent the majority of my life abroad both in the military and with the U.S. State Department and those experiences have shaped my outlook toward my art. We recently returned to the area and live on my family's farmstead in State College.
