Artist Statement
A painter and printmaker, I combined both mediums in the creation of my paperdoll cutout series. The subjects of these paperdolls are famous celebrities, icons in nature. The portraits, expressive in style, are recognizable though incomplete, allowing the viewer to finish the image from memory.......try them on psychologically.
I earned a BFA in Studio Arts at the Laguna College of Art and Design and successfully completed the Business Management for the Arts Program at the University of Southern California.
